My three-month-late celebration of sumer 2025 starts now! Though I was incredibly busy (7 day work week I do not miss you...) I had a pretty good time. I celebrated the beginning of my first "real" internship, and I got to spend alot of downtime with my friends, family, and girlfriend. Though I don't have as many photos as I'd like, I'll summarize some of the highlights here:

Tab's Graduation Party

To celebrate Tab's graduation from undergrad, we had a big party in the backyard filled with family and friends. It was the perfect afternoon for a party-- bright, sunny, not too hot. I wish I had more photos of the food. We had fried chicken and pasta as our main dishes, mashed potatoes, corn, and pasta salad as our side dishes, and tons and tons of snacks. And that isn't even mentioning the drinks :3 Needless to say, it got toasty.

Most of my mom's side of the family was able to come, including cousins we hadn't seen for a while. It was a whole family reunion! Plus, Billy was able to take the train in from Michigan.

Tab brought her digital camera, so we ended up getting alot of cute pictures. Digital cameras like this make me particulalry nostalgic because they remind me of scrapbooking as a child. I used to love to scrapbook at the library with the children's librarian. My mom would also print off photos at Walgreens for us. Tab's photos have that same warm, slightly blurry quality that cellphone cameras just can't capture.

I had my first long-island iced tea this day. Now, in my defense, I thought a long-island iced tea was more like a spiked Arnold Palmer. I was not aware that I was essentially cracking open a can of bar mat water. Luckily, Nicole was there to help me sip it. However, you can definently see how silly it made me in the photos...

Drag Night!

One of the highlights of the summer was FINALLY getting to attend my friend's drag show! They have been performing for a while, but my calender has always been so busy I had never actually attended a show before! There were about 5-6 performers competing for favorite of the night. Everyone had special drinks that patrons could order that would count towards the Queens' tips. My friend had a really delicous pink lemonade one-- we got like 5!

Country Music Festival

Now let me start by saying that I'm not the biggest country fan in the world. But my mom loves it, And I'd be lying if I said I didn't love Miranda Lambert and The Chicks. Plus, my coworker ended up joining us halfway through and kindly bought us loaded fries and BBQ. It was really nice to just sit outside with my family and gab it up.

Nathan's grad party!

I kinda wrapped up the summer by going to my bestie Nathan's graduation party. We drank and ate alot of delicious food (he got portillos!) and I got to meet a lot of friends-of-friends

Nathan also got this really delicous coffee he brought back from his trip for us. We all shared warm drinks, ate Mexican candy, and played board games.

Misc Pics!

OK divas. I'm getting tired of typing. Please appreciate this photo dump
